The Lyon County Building Department exists to help promote general welfare and safety throughout our community through the enforcement of relevant codes and ordinances adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.

Our website is designed to provide forms and applications as well as general information relating to building construction in Lyon County. You are encouraged to contact our offices with any specific questions or concerns.

We have adopted the following building codes effective July, 1 2019.
