Program Overview

Mobile Outreach Safety Team (MOST) is composed of a Behavioral Health Peace Officer, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Lyon County Human Services Case Manager. The team works collaboratively to assist community members who are experiencing crisis including, but not limited to, mental health, emotional, and substance abuse. MOST assists individuals with alleviating the crisis and getting connected to available supports and resources.

A crisis is a serious situation when a person feels overwhelmed, confused, or unable to cope with what's happening. It can involve thoughts of self-harm, intense emotions, or unsafe behaviors that require quick help to keep them safe and get the support they need.
