July 5, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners took the following action:

Approved six new business licenses

Approved Public Defenders contract for Wayne Pederson and Kenneth Ward.

Approved the Ferrari Club annual Virginia City Hill Climb for September 14 & 15, 2013

Approved the purchase of 3 color LED message board to be located at Our Park in Dayton. Funding of $18,000.00 will come from the Central Lyon County Park Tax.

Approved a Special Use Permit for Cradles to Crayons, a child care facility, at 801 Overland Loop in Dayton.

Approved Resolution to designate the tax rate for FY14

Approved amendments to Administrative Policies and Procedures 1-3 in reference to appointments to various citizen boards, commissions and committees.

Took no action to appoint people to the Library Board of Trustees. Direction was given to follow the amended Administrative Policy and Procedure 1-3.
