The Board of County Commissioners approved 21 business license applications and 3 Special Use Permits for new businesses in Lyon County.

The Board approved an interlocal agreement with the Yerington Paiute Tribe for Lyon County to provide building permitting and inspection services to the tribe. The tribe will pay the county for these services as any other developer/contractor would.

The Board approved a lease agreement with the Veterans of Foreign Wars for the use and maintenance of the Mason Town Hall. The VFW will pay an annual fee of $1.00 in exchange they will maintain and operate the Mason Town Hall and Park.
