Smith Valley Advisory Council

Council Purpose

Citizen Advisory Councils in Lyon County meet dual needs.  First they allow the County Commission to understand and respond to concerns of residents and communities, and secondly to increase public awareness and participation with issues affecting their community. 

The Smith Valley Advisory Council also serves as the Smith Valley Cemetery Board. The Cemetery Board meetings are held in conjunction with the Advisory Council meetings.

Meetings

The Smith Valley Advisory Council meets the Wednesday following the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Smith Valley Library located at 22 Day Lane, Smith, NV 89430.
